Mário's Revelation series strives to incorporate the relationship between primary, complementary colours and the physical existence and observation of viewer to compose his installations.
Reflecting on this relationship, his trichromatic installations are composed to intimately connect with the physical existence and observation of viewer without whom the painterly colours in his artworks simply do not physically exist.
In his Revelation installation series, Mário explores the composition of his Receptors, Rainbow, Polarization, and Exposure series to ultimately reveal to the viewer multiple imaginarly and colourfully colours within the same physical space.
Through his Revelation installation series, Mário takes the viewer into a unique journey of discovery of their own biology and their intimate relationship with the colour to ultimately place the viewer in the center of the narrative of the creation of multiple imaginarly and colourfully realities.
Mário's Revelation installations invites the viewer to explore the physical reality of his trichromatic hatching, and cross-hatching pixel strokes, and discover their intimate connection with the fundamental physical and metaphysical nature of Reality.
